Searching the web did not help. Auto-reconnect might not be the correct term to search for.
Steps to reproduce:
connect to a remote client
select the option to have TeamViewer (TV) reboot the remote client
(reboot to the safe or normal mode - it does not matter)
select *reboot* to go forward with the reboot
select *wait for partner*
close the TV window to the client (or let it timeout)...
