UTC Time Zone Not Recognised

Dear All i am facing an issue with time zone i set the time zone to UTC 5:30 hrs (chennai,..., new delhi) although after an hour when i check the system clock it says UTC time is not recognized i again manually set the time zone to UTC 5:30 hrs although agin when i rebooted the system the system clock said the time zone is not recognised i have a software that runs only if the utc 5:30 is set...
