Installed ADE 4.5 recently and had problems getting windows to accept file association using "Default Programs" and 3rd party freeware. I noticed that the installation in my laptop went w/out a hitch. This is the first install for ADE on my laptop. Decided to inspect the registry entry HKEY_CLAASES_ROOT\Applications\ADE and looked at the shell>open> value: It was listing an older version of ADE....
