Solved How can I create a list of files contained in a child folder

I want to create a list of all files in a child folder. There are about 300 files of various file types in the folder - would it be possible to create such a list in cmd.exe window If so how would I do that ? - in the past I have dabbled with commands to release stubborn drives but that is the extent of my experience. I think I need to CHDIR to the target folder but I dont know how to...
