Solved Mouse won't select text after typing

Ok so this is pretty random. For some unknown reason my mouse is suddenly playing up since running fine since January when I built the computer. As it says in the title. After typing something in a text box whether it be word or the address bar in chrome I can then not drag and select text. After a while it will allow me to do it again and then after typing go messed up again. Any ideas. I...
