Start Up folder - Why won't this program start?

Hi, I just reinstalled windows 7 using the Windows 7 Clean Install tutorial 3 days ago. For some reason I can't get SpeedFan to start up when my computer starts. I can go into the All Programs folders --> Startup and click the SpeedFan icon in the folder, and it fires right up. What's going on?
